Young and elderly gathered to enjoy the sand and surf using floating, water-friendly wheelchairs at Malvarrosa Beach.

Loreto Soriano Loente started the program with her disabled daughter in mind. Loente said her motivation comes from the love and care she has for her daughter and others sharing similar circumstances.

Loente says touching the sea spreads happiness among the members of this community.
